cKovi SE SUBE A LA
RUEDA DE LA FORTUNA DEL AMOR CON “STRANGERS”//cKovi TAKES A CHANCE ON
LOVE'S FERRIS WHEEL WITH "STRANGERS"

alguien y me enamoro.
encontrado a la persona correcta bajo circunstancias imperfectas: "Right
person, wrong place, right time, no grace".

cKOVI TAKES A CHANCE ON LOVE'S FERRIS WHEEL WITH "STRANGERS"
Caught between the thrill of falling in love and the fear of getting
hurt, cKovi unveils a bilingual song about two strangers who meet and
dare to imagine what could happen if they leave fear behind.
"STRANGERS" WILL BE AVAILABLE ON ALL DIGITAL PLATFORMS STARTING OCTOBER
15.
For cKovi, falling in love feels like riding a Ferris wheel: it begins
with the uncertainty of sharing the ride with someone you've only just
met, continues with the dizzying feeling of climbing higher and higher,
and, for a brief moment, as you hang suspended in the air beside that
stranger, fear seems to disappear.
From that image comes "Strangers," cKovi's new single, available October
15. The song explores the possibility of opening the door to someone
new, while acknowledging that falling in love also means accepting the
risk of getting hurt again.
"I imagine love in my life as a Ferris wheel: I meet someone and fall in
love. It lifts me high into the sky, and those little fears of falling
in love somehow disappear when I'm up there, in the air, with that
stranger," shares cKovi.
Moving naturally between English and Spanish, "Strangers" follows two
strangers as they gradually grow closer through life's small moments:
walking together, sharing mornings, late-night drives, and wondering
whether the time has finally come to stay.
But beneath that growing closeness lies one lingering question: what
happens when two people want to be together, but both are afraid to take
the first step?
"Strangers" lives within that tension—the possibility of meeting someone
who could change your life, while knowing that the only way to find out
is to let that person become part of a story that began long before they
arrived.
For cKovi, that stranger doesn't come to start a new life from scratch,
but rather to join the journey she's already been on.
"A stranger who changes my life because they become part of the path
I've already traveled. A stranger who's afraid to love, and the only way
I know how to earn their trust is by singing to them, writing about
them, so they'll open their heart and, without fear, we can walk through
this life as strangers who simply no longer want to be afraid."
The song transforms songwriting into an act of intimacy: singing to
someone in the hope that they'll let their guard down. Writing about
that stranger becomes a way of saying, you can trust me, come closer,
and discover what's waiting on the other side of fear.
Yet possibility constantly coexists with doubt. One of the song's
central lines captures the feeling of finding the right person under
imperfect circumstances: "Right person, wrong place, right time, no
grace." Along with it comes the fear of spending a lifetime wondering
what might have happened if both people had decided to take the chance.
That contradiction also extends naturally into the visual universe of
"Strangers," where cKovi continues to build an artistic identity in
which music and imagery are inseparable parts of the same narrative. The
cover artwork presents an intimate, enigmatic portrait of the artist,
her face partially hidden behind white makeup accented with small
touches of red, once again playing with the distance between what we
choose to reveal and what still remains hidden.
With "Strangers," cKovi doesn't try to answer whether there's truly such
a thing as the right person or the perfect moment. Instead, she offers
something simpler: allowing yourself to feel, even when there's no
guarantee of how the story will end.
Because before sharing a morning, a song, a journey, or a lifetime, we
all begin in exactly the same place: As strangers.
