FEHR RIVAS CONVIERTE LA NOSTALGIA EN UNA FORMA DE DESPEDIDA EN
"PERDONO...
decidido no volver.

recordar, dudar, idealizar, entender y, finalmente, elegir no regresar.

ENGLISH VERSION
FEHR RIVAS TURNS NOSTALGIA INTO A FORM OF
FAREWELL ON
"PERDONO... PERO NO OLVIDO"
The Mexican singer-songwriter releases a song on September 25 about that
strange place where memories remain, even after we've decided not to go
back.
Some loves end long before we stop remembering them. Stories that no
longer belong in the present, yet somehow return from time to time—in a
song, in the middle of the night, or in a version of ourselves that no
longer exists.
It is from that emotional space that "Perdono... Pero No Olvido" ("I
Forgive, But I Don't Forget"), the new single from Fehr Rivas, emerges.
The song finds beauty in one of love's most difficult contradictions:
being able to forgive someone without having to erase what happened.
Because forgetting isn't the only way to move forward.
Rooted in the romantic pop-rock sensibility that Fehr has made part of
his identity—his own "Rockmántico" universe—the track moves through
piano, guitars and immersive atmospheres, carried by a restrained vocal
performance that gradually builds into a statement of emotional clarity.
There is no resentment. Nor is there reconciliation.
There is memory.
And above all, there is a decision.
"That last time was the first time I recognized myself," Fehr sings
during one of the song's defining moments. The line transforms what
could have simply been a goodbye into something far more intimate: the
realization that leaving someone can also mean finding your way back to
yourself.
"Perdono... Pero No Olvido" was written by Luis Fernando Rivas Moreno,
Juan Francisco Parra Parodi and Mariana Gagliardi, and produced by Juan
Francisco Parra Parodi, a songwriter and producer recently nominated for
a 2026 Latin GRAMMY. The track was mixed by Uziel González and mastered
by award-winning engineer Luke Pimentel, completing a production that
pays close attention to every detail of its sonic world.
The collaboration finds Fehr exploring a musical language in which
nostalgia is not an invitation to return to the past, but evidence that
something once mattered.
The memory of the lies. The scars left behind by a relationship. The
moments when we still confuse missing someone with wanting them back.
And finally, that late-night hour when something shifts.
Within the visual and narrative universe surrounding the release, two
times mark that emotional journey: 12:10 and 3:10.
At 12:10, the temptation is still there.
By 3:10, clarity arrives.
Between those two moments lies everything we often struggle to explain:
remembering, doubting, idealizing, understanding and, ultimately,
choosing not to go back.
The metaphor accompanies a song that never tries to turn pain into
tragedy. Instead, Fehr looks at the relationship from the kind of
distance that only becomes possible when a wound begins to turn into a
memory.
Forgiveness, then, no longer means reconciliation. It becomes a way of
setting yourself free.
That nuance also signals a new creative chapter for Fehr Rivas, who
continues to build an artistic identity around male vulnerability
without disguising it as indifference. His music speaks from the
perspective of someone who still feels deeply, but is beginning to
understand that loving another person should never mean disappearing
inside them.
More than looking outward, this time he looks back.
Not to return.
To understand.
Because some stories don't need to disappear in order to stop hurting.
Sometimes, it is enough to accept that they happened, acknowledge what
they left behind, and allow those memories to occupy the only place that
still belongs to them: the past.
"Perdono... Pero No Olvido," by Fehr Rivas, will be available on all
digital platforms beginning September 25, 2026.
