Hay artistas que graban canciones y artistas que escriben la historia.
La gala de los Premios Nuestra Tierra 2026 se detuvo para honrar al
hombre que, con una guitarra al hombro y el corazón en la garganta, hizo
que el mundo entero hablara español. En el Teatro Colsubsidio que vibró
en una noche llena de lo mejor de la música de nuestro país, JUANES fue
galardonado como Artista Leyenda, un título que abraza tres décadas de
una carrera que es, en sí misma, un himno a la libertad y a la música.
Este homenaje llega en un instante de plenitud absoluta. Mientras el
país celebra su historia, JUANES mira hacia el futuro: ha sido anunciado
como el artista inaugural de DaviArena, el nuevo templo de los
espectáculos en su amada Medellín, el próximo 14 de noviembre. Una cita
que precederá su concierto en Bogotá el 20 de noviembre y una nueva gira
por Europa y Estados Unidos, llevando consigo ese sonido que no conoce
fronteras. Es el presente de un artista que, habiendo recorrido los
festivales más prestigiosos y los escenarios más icónicos del mundo,
mantiene intacta la sencillez de aquel joven que comenzó su sueño en las
calles de Medellín.
Este es un premio que reconoce un camino de muchos años, cuando, desde
Medellín para el mundo, una guitarra empezó a contar quiénes somos. Fue
esa música que mezcló el rock con nuestras raíces la que llevó nuestras
historias en nuestro idioma por el mundo y convirtió lo local en
universal. Y así, canción tras canción, escenario tras escenario, premio
tras premio, una leyenda cruzó fronteras y hoy regresó a casa a honrar
eso que somos: llevar nuestra bandera por el mundo. JUANES fue quien
puso nuestros corazones a latir y quien abrió el sueño para muchos.
Ese sueño compartido cobró vida en el escenario cuando su trayectoria se
transformó en presente y las voces de Manuel Lizarazo, Annasofía, Maca y
Jero, Bako de The Mills, TIMØ y Llane, se unieron para recorrer esos
versos que ya no le pertenecen a él, sino al mundo, en un medley que
honró canciones como "A Dios le Pido", "Hagamos qué", "Fotografía", "Me
Enamora"y "Nada valgo sin tu amor". El escenario fue testigo de cómo sus
canciones se han convertido en himnos que han resonado en los escenarios
más imponentes del mundo.
El premio, entregado por su amigo Fonseca, no solo honra sus 29 premios
Grammy Anglo y Latin Grammy, sino su asombrosa capacidad de ser un
hombre de mundo sin soltar jamás su esencia. En cada acorde y en cada
palabra, JUANES nos recuerda que la música es el puente más corto entre
las culturas.
El artista recibió el aplauso de una nación que se ve reflejada en su
éxito, este homenaje no es solo un premió a una leyenda; es una
distinción que celebra la verdad de un artista que, después de haberlo
conquistado todo, sigue convencido de que la magia apenas comienza.
"Gracias a mis hermanos y a mis papás por haber sido los primeros que
creyeron en mí, por haberme enseñado la música desde temprano, por haber
llenado la sala de la casa de guitarras. Por haberme hecho enamorar del
dueto de antaño, de Jaime Villamil, Octavio Mesa, Los Visconti,
Diomedes, Kraken, Los Chalchaleros, Binomio de Oro, Joe Arroyo, Totó la
Momposina, y mucho más. Y por haberme llevado a mis primeras clases de
guitarra con mi profesor Gabriel Cañas. Gracias a RCN, Villalobos,
Blanquita, UNIVERSAL MUSIC, Rafa Restrepo, WME, Paula Jaramillo y a todo
mi equipo de trabajo. Agradezco a mi colegio, el Instituto Jorge
Robledo, porque fue mi primer escenario. En cada izada de bandera la
profe siempre me llamaba: "Juan Esteban Aristizábal, a cantar". Me
paraba ahí temblando, pero sabía que amaba lo que estaba haciendo. Ese
fue mi primer paso para enfrentar al público. De ahí a los escenarios
del mundo. He triunfado y he fracasado muchas veces en este camino, pero
déjenme decirles algo, es tan grande mi amor por la música que siempre
he sabido cómo levantarme de nuevo y seguir. Hago música por convicción
y por amor propio; de otra manera no habría podido llegar hasta aquí; y
lo que falta."
"Pasé del colegio a los escenarios del mundo y me di cuenta que todo se
lo debo a este lugar, a mi Colombia del alma, a la música que se hace
aquí y a las personas de todos los rincones de este país que me han
abrazado y lo siguen haciendo, dándome su mano para seguir adelante. Hoy
también quiero dar gracias a todos los nuevos artistas por la
inspiración y por la calidad con la que están haciendo su música. Son
maestros para mí, al igual que lo han sido las leyendas."

history. The 2026 Premio Nuestra Tierra ceremony took a moment to honor
JUANES who, with a guitar on his shoulder and his heart in his throat,
made the entire world speak Spanish through music.
At Teatro Colsubsidio, during a night celebrating the very best of
Colombian music, JUANES was honored with the "Legend Artist" award, a
recognition that embraces nearly three decades of a career that has
itself become an anthem to freedom and music.
This tribute arrives at a moment of complete artistic fulfillment. While
the country celebrates his legacy, JUANES continues looking toward the
future. He has recently been announced as the inaugural artist for
DaviArena, the new entertainment venue in his beloved Medellín, on
November 14. The performance will precede his Bogotá concert on November
20th, as well as a new tour across Europe and the United States,
carrying with him a sound that knows no borders. It is the present
reality of an artist who, despite performing at the world's most
prestigious festivals and iconic stages, still preserves the humility of
the young man who first dreamed on the streets of Medellín.
This award recognizes a path built over many years, a journey that began
in Medellín, where a guitar first started telling the story of who we
are. It was that music, blending rock with Colombian roots, that carried
our stories and language around the world, transforming the local into
something universal. Song after song, stage after stage, award after
award, a legend crossed borders and returned home to honor what defines
us: carrying our flag around the world. JUANES became the artist who
made our hearts beat louder and who opened the dream for many others.
That shared dream came to life on stage as his legacy transformed into

"Thank you to my brothers and my parents for being the first people who
believed in me, for introducing me to music at such a young age, and for
filling our living room with guitars. For making me fall in love with
traditional duets, Jaime Villamil, Octavio Mesa, Los Visconti, Diomedes,
Kraken, Los Chalchaleros, Binomio de Oro, Joe Arroyo, Totó la Momposina,
and so much more. And for taking me to my first guitar lessons with my

something: my love for music is so immense that I have always known how
to get back up and keep going. I make music out of conviction and
self-love; otherwise, I could never have made it this far, and there is
still so much ahead.

I owe everything to this place, to my beloved Colombia, to the music
made here, and to the people from every corner of this country who have
