"Presidente", "Si No Quieres No", "Te Quería Ver", "Canasteo" y "Loco",

categoría Regional Mexican Artist of the Year, Solo.
global.

One of the night's most memorable moments unfolded around 3:00 a.m.
Rather than leaving the venue, fans remained in place, repeatedly
chanting "RIKI" and calling for one of the singer's biggest recent hits.
The moment captured the connection between Netón and his audience, as
thousands of voices demanded a song that has quickly become an essential
part of his live repertoire.
The evening also offered a glimpse of what lies ahead. Before leaving
the stage, Netón surprised the audience with an exclusive preview of
"Olimpo," his upcoming collaboration with Fuerza Regida. The release
brings together two of the acts that have helped reshape both the sound
and commercial reach of Mexican music in recent years.
The concert came at a pivotal moment in the singer's career, following a
string of high-impact releases and his second consecutive year as a
finalist at the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards in the Regional
Mexican Artist of the Year, Solo category. Alongside the anticipation
surrounding "Olimpo," Netón is also preparing AURA, his forthcoming
studio album, through which he will continue exploring new musical
directions and expanding the reach of his artistry.
Returning to his roots, Netón Vega delivered a powerful showcase of the
live experience he now brings to the stage: live music, large-scale
production, and a repertoire that moves effortlessly across genres. The
performance reflected both the journey of the La Paz-born artist and the
growing stature of his career within Latin music.
More About Netón Vega
Born in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico, Netón Vega has established
himself as one of the most influential figures of the new generation of
Latin music. His rise is reflected in a rare combination of global
streaming success, sustained presence on major music charts, and a
distinctive artistic identity that has helped expand the reach of
Mexican music beyond its borders.
His debut album, Mi Vida, Mi Muerte, marked a turning point in his
career. In 2025, it became one of the most-streamed Latin projects on
Spotify, surpassing 2 billion streams, while reaching No. 2 on
Billboard's Top Latin Albums, No. 1 on Regional Mexican Albums, and No.
19 on the Billboard 200. The project demonstrated not only his
commercial strength but also his ability to connect with audiences on an
international scale.
Netón's impact extends well beyond his career as a performer. As a
songwriter, he has contributed to some of the most significant songs in
contemporary Mexican music, including "La People" and "Rubicon," both
performed by Peso Pluma, further establishing himself as one of the most
prominent songwriters of his generation.
His career as a recording artist reached a new level with "Si No Quieres
No," featuring Luis R. Conriquez, which earned him his first entry on
the Billboard Hot 100. From there, songs such as "Loco," "Morena"
featuring Peso Pluma, and "Te Quería Ver" with Alemán expanded his chart
presence and dominated digital streaming throughout 2025. That year,
Netón simultaneously held the top three positions on Spotify Mexico with
"Morena" (No. 1), "Te Quería Ver" (No. 2), and "Loco" (No. 3).
His success across Billboard's charts has mirrored that growth. "Si No
Quieres No" peaked at No. 2 on Hot Latin Songs and No. 53 on the Hot
100; "Loco" reached No. 2 on Hot Latin Songs and No. 43 on the Hot 100;
"Te Quería Ver" entered the Hot 100 and peaked at No. 17 on Hot Latin
Songs; while "Morena" reached No. 1 in Mexico and also entered the Hot
100.
Onstage, Netón quickly demonstrated his ability to draw major crowds.
His U.S. headlining debut at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, on
June 27, 2025, sold out in just one hour, prompting the addition of a
second show on June 28, which also sold out. His live performances have
also included appearances at festivals such as Don't Fall in Love, Jalo,
and Belico Fest.
His artistic evolution continued with DELIRIUM, his sophomore album,
which expanded his musical universe by incorporating elements of
bachata, merengue, urban music, rap, and electronic music. Produced by
Benny Blanco, Edgar Barrera, Josafat Chávez, and Netón Vega himself, and
featuring collaborations with Jowell & Randy, Myke Towers, Ryan Castro,
and Benny Blanco, the album debuted at No. 9 on Spotify's Top Albums
Debut Global chart and No. 7 in the United States. It also entered
Billboard's Top Latin Albums at No. 29 and Top Latin Rhythm Albums at
No. 12.
In 2026, that evolution has translated into one of the strongest periods
of his career. "Nalguita y Teta" reached No. 1 on Billboard's Mexico
Songs chart, holding the top position for 12 consecutive weeks, while
also peaking at No. 8 on Hot Latin Songs. "Pvta Luna" reached No. 10 on
Hot Latin Songs and No. 3 on Mexico Songs, while "RIKI" earned another
No. 1 on Mexico Songs and debuted on the Billboard Global 200.
The scale of his current success is equally evident across streaming
platforms. With more than 30 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Netón
currently has three solo tracks—with no featured artists—on Spotify
Mexico's Top 50: "RIKI," "Nalguita y Teta," and "Pvta Luna," with the
first two simultaneously ranking within the Top 3.
His career has earned recognition from some of the music industry's most
prestigious award ceremonies. In 2025, he received nominations at
Premios Lo Nuestro and the MTV Video Music Awards in the Best Latin
category for "La Patrulla" alongside Peso Pluma. He also won two
Billboard Latin Music Awards: Artist of the Year, New and Songwriter of
the Year. In 2026, he added nominations at Premios Tu Música Urbano MIX
and the American Music Awards, including Breakthrough Latin Artist and
Best Latin Album for Mi Vida, Mi Muerte.
Now, for the second consecutive year, Netón Vega has been named a
finalist at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, competing in the Regional
Mexican Artist of the Year, Solo category. The recognition follows a
52-week tracking period during which nine songs and two albums from his
catalog appeared across various Billboard charts, highlighting the
sustained success of a body of work that continues to grow beyond any
single release.
With a career that brings together songwriting, performance, live
audience appeal, and an ongoing ability to bridge musical styles and
audiences, Netón Vega stands among the defining voices shaping the
contemporary evolution of Mexican music and its place on the global
stage.
