Tras una serie de lanzamientos que marcaron su evolución artística,

el cantautor guatemalteco Sebas Bárcenas presenta finalmente DE LA ZONA
5 PARA EL MUNDO, su álbum debut. Construido a partir de siete años de
experiencias, relaciones, influencias y crecimiento personal, el
proyecto representa la presentación más completa de su identidad como
artista y compositor.
Liderado por “Nada Es Igual”, una power ballad que encuentra a Sebas en
una de sus interpretaciones vocales más sólidas hasta la fecha, el álbum
reafirma una propuesta que combina pop contemporáneo, R&B, rock y una

Más que una colección de canciones, DE LA ZONA 5 PARA EL MUNDO funciona

“Este álbum reúne una parte enorme de mi vida. Hay canciones que escribí
hace años y otras mucho más recientes, pero todas hablan de momentos que
me cambiaron de alguna manera. Siempre he creído que las canciones
llegan cuando tienen que llegar, y hoy siento que finalmente llegó el
momento de compartir esta historia completa,” comparte Sebas Bárcenas.
El álbum toma su nombre de Zona 5, el sector de Ciudad de Guatemala
donde Sebas creció y donde permanece gran parte de su familia. Este
lugar representa el punto de partida de una historia que hoy trasciende
fronteras y da nombre a un proyecto que busca presentar al público no
solo al artista, sino también a la persona detrás de las canciones.
Aunque cada tema parte de un momento distinto de su vida, todos
comparten una misma filosofía creativa: escribir desde la experiencia
antes que desde la ficción.

Sebas Bárcenas es un cantautor guatemalteco cuya

singer-songwriter Sebas Bárcenas finally unveils DE LA ZONA 5 PARA EL
MUNDO, his debut album. Built from seven years of experiences,
relationships, influences, and personal growth, the project offers the
most complete portrait yet of his identity as both an artist and
songwriter.
Led by “Nada Es Igual,” a power ballad that showcases one of Sebas’

This album holds such a huge part of my life. Some of these songs were
written years ago, while others are much more recent, but they all speak
to moments that changed me in one way or another. I’ve always believed
that songs arrive when they’re meant to, and today I finally feel it’s
time to share this entire story.

The album takes its name from Zona 5, the district of Guatemala City
where Sebas grew up and where much of his family still lives. This place
represents the starting point of a story that now reaches beyond borders
and gives its name to a project that introduces audiences not only to
the artist, but also to the person behind the songs.
While each song draws from a different chapter of his life, they all
share the same creative philosophy: writing from lived experience rather
than fiction. From “Hoy Te Vi,” written just minutes after unexpectedly
running into an ex-girlfriend, to “K DEBO HACER,” where he confronts the
emotional cost of choosing to pursue his dreams over a relationship,
Sebas transforms deeply personal experiences into songs that resonate
with listeners.
As the album’s focus track, “Nada Es Igual” explores one of the most
complex emotions that follows heartbreak: realizing that moving forward

About Sebas Bárcenas
Sebas Bárcenas is a Guatemalan singer-songwriter whose sound blends pop,
rock, reggae, and tropical rhythms. Born in Guatemala City, he began
playing guitar at the age of seven and writing songs at ten. In 2022,
