LENNY TAVÁREZ celebra
su cumpleaños en Nueva York IMPULSANDO EL ARTE Y LA CULTURA CON
ESTUDIANTES DE EAST HARLEM
El innovador artista puertorriqueño Lenny Tavárez celebró su cumpleaños
el día de ayer en la ciudad de Nueva York lanzando la iniciativa Dale
Ritmo Community Outreach con un evento enfocado en la comunidad en East
Harlem, donde llevó música, baile y propósito a estudiantes locales.
Junto a su esposa, Natasha Nazario, y en colaboración con su alianza
global con Platoon, Lenny Tavárez presentó la iniciativa Dale Ritmo
Community Outreach a través del programa Ballroom Basix, marcando esta
la primera actividad de la iniciativa.
La actividad se llevó a cabo en The James Weldon Johnson School en East
Harlem, donde Lenny y Natasha encabezaron un taller interactivo de salsa
en colaboración con la organización Ballroom Basix, compartiendo con un
grupo de estudiantes entre los 9 y 11 años de edad. Durante el
encuentro, los estudiantes participaron en dinámicas de salsa y baile
social, aprendiendo pasos básicos, ritmo, coordinación y trabajo en
equipo en un ambiente de energía, alegría y compañerismo.
Ballroom Basix ofrece experiencias educativas verbal y físicamente
interactivas para estudiantes y maestros en los cinco distritos de la
ciudad de Nueva York, utilizando el baile como herramienta de impacto
social y desarrollo integral. A través de sus programas, los estudiantes
experimentan:
Integración cultural: explorando distintos estilos de baile y las
culturas y países de donde provienen.
Desarrollo físico: fortaleciendo coordinación, ritmo, balance y
habilidades de trabajo en pareja mediante bailes latinos y de salón.
Crecimiento social y emocional: fomentando la confianza, el respeto, la
aceptación y la colaboración entre compañeros.
A través de esta iniciativa, Lenny Tavárez continúa utilizando su
plataforma para inspirar, empoderar y conectar de manera significativa
con las nuevas generaciones, utilizando el arte, la música y la cultura
latina como vehículos de impacto y transformación.
La actividad coincide además con el lanzamiento de "PA' LO BONITO", su
más reciente sencillo producido por el legendario Sergio George. En este
tema, Tavárez continúa expandiendo su exploración dentro del género
tropical, presentando una propuesta más íntima, romántica y nostálgica
que refleja su conexión con el amor, las emociones reales y los momentos
más simples de la vida.
Con su música y su trabajo comunitario, Lenny Tavárez, en colaboración
con Platoon, continúa expandiendo su visión artística mientras crea
experiencias significativas que conectan culturas, generaciones y
comunidades. Las futuras actividades de Dale Ritmo Community Outreach ya
están siendo planificadas en Miami, Puerto Rico, Mexico City, Colombia y

CULTURE WITH EAST HARLEM STUDENTS
Trailblazing Puerto Rican artist Lenny Tavárez celebrated his birthday
yesterday in New York City by launching the Dale Ritmo Community
Outreach initiative with a community-focused event in East Harlem, where
he brought music, dance, and purpose to local students.
Along with his wife, Natasha Nazario, and in collaboration with his
global partnership with Platoon, Lenny Tavárez introduced the Dale Ritmo
Community Outreach initiative through the Ballroom Basix program,
marking this the first cohort of the initiative.
The activity took place at The James Weldon Johnson School in East
Harlem, where Lenny and Natasha led an interactive salsa workshop in
collaboration with the organization Ballroom Basix, engaging a group of
students between the ages of 9 and 11. During the session, students
participated in salsa and social dance activities, learning basic steps,
rhythm, coordination, and teamwork in an atmosphere filled with energy,
joy, and camaraderie.
Ballroom Basix provides verbally and physically interactive educational
experiences for students and teachers across New York City's five
boroughs, using dance as a tool for social impact and holistic
development. Through its programs, students experience:
Cultural Engagement: To educate students not only in a diversity of
partner dances, but also the countries and cultures from which they
originate.
Physical Engagement: To develop cooperative partnering skills in a
variety of Latin & Ballroom dances (proper frame, steps & patterns)
improving timing, rhythm, balance, coordination and teamwork in a poised
and polite manner.
Social and Emotional Engagement: To foster cooperation, confidence, and
self-esteem by encouraging kindness, respect, acceptance and camaraderie
among classmates.
Through this initiative, Lenny Tavárez continues to leverage his
platform to inspire, empower, and meaningfully connect with new
generations, using art, music, and Latin culture as vehicles for impact
and transformation.
The activity also coincides with the release of "PA' LO BONITO," his
latest single produced by legendary producer Sergio George. In this
track, Tavárez continues to expand his exploration of the tropical
genre, presenting a more intimate, romantic, and nostalgic offering that
reflects his connection to love, genuine emotions, and life's simplest
moments.
With both his music and community work, Lenny Tavárez, in partnership
