El productor y artista dominicano ganador de 3 Latin GRAMMY® y nominado
a los GRAMMY®, Maffio, lanza su tercer álbum de estudio R.D.L.D. (Rey de
la Discoteca): más que un disco, una declaración musical que lo
posiciona como embajador de una nueva era donde los ritmos latinos y
caribeños se funden con la energía de la electrónica global. Reconocido
por crear éxitos globales durante más de 20 años, Maffio vuelve a
reinventarse, conectando sus raíces con un sonido que confirma que la
música latina tiene un lugar propio en la pista electrónica mundial.
“‘R.D.L.D.’ es más que un título, es una declaración. Es mi manera de
rendir homenaje al género que me enseñó que la música no tiene
fronteras: que es unión, que es sangre roja corriendo dentro de cada ser
humano. Este álbum es mi aporte, mi voz, mi esencia afrolatina y
tropical sumándose a ese reino infinito que ya existe”, expresó Maffio.
Tras dos décadas de éxitos, exploración y colaboraciones con íconos
internacionales, este proyecto marca el viaje más importante de su
carrera. Lo llevó a Londres, París y Ámsterdam, cunas de la electrónica,
y también a un proceso de autodescubrimiento, encontrando una versión
más madura, introspectiva y profundamente latina de sí mismo.
En el corazón del álbum está “Incondicional (Les Trois Monde)”, el focus
track que resume la visión artística de Maffio: una música sin banderas,
hecha para un mundo sin fronteras. La canción, junto al puertorriqueño
Lenny Tavárez, el productor marroquí Benny Adam y la artista brasileña
Nonô, fue grabada en París y representa un cruce de idiomas, géneros y
culturas. El videoclip, filmado entre Londres y Miami bajo la dirección
de Lennyn Salinas, refleja visualmente la mezcla de culturas y sonidos
que define R.D.L.D.
El álbum incluye 12 temas trabajados con referentes de la electrónica y
la música latina. Destacan colaboraciones con Nonô, ØMG, Baby Kush, KRZ,
Fux Beat y Steve Manovski, además de una constelación de invitados que
refuerzan su carácter internacional: Wisin, Anitta, Shaggy, Guaynaa,

GRAMMY®-winning Dominican producer and artist Maffio releases his third
studio album R.D.L.D. (Rey de la Discoteca): more than a record, this is
a musical statement that cements his role as a leading voice in a new
era where Latin and Caribbean rhythms merge with the energy of global
electronic music. Known for crafting global hits for more than two
decades, Maffio reinvents himself once again, bridging his roots with a
sound that affirms Latin music’s rightful place on the world’s
electronic dance floors.
“R.D.L.D. is more than a title, it’s a statement. It’s my way of
honoring the genre that taught me music has no borders: that it is
union, that it is red blood running through every human being. This
album is my contribution, my voice, my Afro-Latin and tropical essence
joining that infinite kingdom that already exists,” said Maffio.
After two decades of success, exploration, and collaborations with
global icons, this project marks the most important journey of his
career. It took him to London, Paris, and Amsterdam — the birthplaces of
electronic music — and also into a process of self-discovery, where he
found a more mature, introspective, and deeply Latin version of himself.
At the heart of the album is “Incondicional (Les Trois Monde),” the
focus track that encapsulates Maffio’s artistic vision: borderless music
for a borderless world. The track, featuring Puerto Rican artist Lenny
Tavárez, Moroccan producer Benny Adam, and Brazilian artist Nonô, was
recorded in Paris and represents a true crossroads of language, genre,
and culture. The music video, filmed between London and Miami and
directed by Lennyn Salinas, visually reflects the multicultural sound
and spirit of R.D.L.D.
