Rauw Alejandro recibirá el Premio Herencia Hispana
2025, y revela el título de su próximo lanzamiento
Rauw Alejandro también reveló el título de su esperado álbum, "Cosa
Nuestra: Capítulo 0".
La Fundación Herencia Hispana se enorgullece en anunciar que el artista
puertorriqueño, Rauw Alejandro, reconocido internacionalmente, ganador
del Latin GRAMMY® y cuatro veces nominado al GRAMMY®, será honrado con
el Premio a la Herencia Hispana 2025 en la categoría Visión.
Rauw será homenajeado en el Teatro Warner en Washington, D.C., el 4 de
septiembre de 2025, y la ceremonia se transmitirá posteriormente a nivel
nacional a través de PBS, en honor a su aporte innovaddor a la música
latina y su impacto global.
"Como artista en constante movimiento, Rauw Alejandro representa la
esencia del Premio Visión: audaz en su creatividad, con una visión
global y auténtico en cada paso que da," expresó Antonio Tijerino,
presidente y CEO de la Fundación Herencia Hispana (HHF por sus siglas en
inglés). "Su trabajo no solo es música, es un movimiento que reafirma lo
que los artistas latinos significan para el mundo."

seguir elevando nuestra historia y vibra desde un lugar especial",

Desde su llegada a la escena musical, Rauw Alejandro ha acumulado
elogios de la crítica y ha roto barreras en listas de popularidad y
plataformas de streaming, consolidándose como uno de los artistas más
prolíficos del mundo. Su álbum debut Afrodisíaco, certificado 6x Platino
por la RIAA y lanzado en noviembre de 2020, le valió su primera
nominación al GRAMMY® como "Mejor Álbum de Música Urbana" y una
nominación al Latin GRAMMY® como "Mejor Nuevo Artista." Su segundo álbum
Vice Versa (2021) debutó en el #1 de las listas latinas de Billboard y

The Hispanic Heritage Foundation is proud to announce internationally
acclaimed Latin GRAMMY® Award-winning and 4x GRAMMY® nominated Puerto
Rican superstar Rauw Alejandro as the recipient of the 2025 Hispanic
Heritage Award for Vision.
Rauw will be celebrated at the Warner Theater in Washington, D.C., on
September 4, 2025, with the ceremony later airing nationally on PBS,
honoring his groundbreaking contributions to Latin music and his role in
shaping its global future.
"As an artist in constant motion, Rauw Alejandro embodies the very
essence of the Vision Award, bold in creativity, future-focused in his
global impact, and unapologetically original in everything he does,"

From the moment Rauw Alejandro burst onto the scene, he has consistently
garnered a wealth of both critical acclaim and barrier breaking chart /
streaming accomplishments as one of the world's most prolific artists -
with forward looking albums arriving every year. His 6x RIAA Latin
Platinum debut album, Afrodisíaco, released in November 2020, earned
Rauw his first GRAMMY® nomination for "Best Urban Music Album" and also
garnered him a Latin GRAMMY® nomination for "Best New Artist." His 2021
follow-up Vice Versa, continued his rise with #1 debuts on Billboard's
and Apple Music's Latin Album charts. Plaudits for the work were also
impressively widespread, as release vaulted into the upper echelon of

Most recently, Rauw's fifth studio album "Cosa Nuestra" saw release in
November of 2024 scoring landmark #1 global debuts on both Apple Music
and Spotify, positioning him among the few Latin artists to achieve this
distinction. The album also reached #1 on Billboard's Latin Albums chart
and #6 on the Billboard 200, further solidifying his crossover success.
Likewise demonstrating the album's relevance, Billboard also recently
spotlighted the release as the first entry in their predictions for this
year's most likely Latin GRAMMY® Album of the Year nominations –
declaring: "Cosa Nuestra is an ambitious album with roots in New York
and a clear storyline, it features collaborations with Bad Bunny, Romeo
Santos and Laura Pausini, among others. But the star is Alejandro, who
infuses tropical music with modernity."
The Hispanic Heritage Awards (HHAs) were established by The White House
in 1988 to commemorate the creation of Hispanic Heritage Month in
America and are often recognized as "America's Hispanic Heritage Month
Celebration" and supported by 40 national, Latino-serving institutions.
