Luego de visitar más de 15 ciudades en España con una gira inolvidable
que reafirmó su conexión con el público latino en Europa, y su exitosa
presentación en Coca Cola Food Fest en Puebla, México, TIMØ anuncia
oficialmente su próximo álbum de estudio, 'Canto Pa No Llorar', el cual
verá la luz en febrero del 2026 y ya esta disponible para pre-guardar.
El anuncio del álbum llega con el estreno de la última canción del año,
"Divino Castigo", marcando el inicio de una nueva etapa creativa para la
banda; convirtiéndose en la canción más esperada hasta el momento.
"'Divino Castigo' fue la primera canción que hicimos del nuevo álbum. La
compusimos a inicios de enero de 2024 y prácticamente no cambió nada
desde entonces. Solo le subimos un poco al tempo y la tonalidad, pero la
esencia siempre estuvo ahí, queriendo entrar al álbum... y al final lo
logró", cuenta Alejo. Es una canción alegre y que a pesar de tener el
corazón roto, da fuerza para seguir adelante, disfrutando de la vida con
orgullo y valentía, demostrándole al mundo que de ese desamor, se puede
salir.
La canción nació en una sesión junto a Nabález, reconocido productor
colombiano, quien aportó su característico toque latino. Aunque el tema
comenzó con un aire más "bluesero", terminó transformándose en una
fusión única entre el blues anglo y los matices mexicanos, evocando ese
sonido que, según Pepa, "logran evocar, ritmos muy similares a la
canción de Carín León, "Primera Cita".
El resultado es una pieza intensa y emocional que conecta con una
generación que ha aprendido a sanar bailando. "En una cultura donde
todos dicen 'soy migajero en el amor', esta canción es lo contrario: es
empoderarte, es decir 'me rompiste el corazón, pero aquí sigo, y de esto
voy a salir más fuerte'. Esa energía nos encanta y entendemos por qué la
gente la pidió tanto durante meses", añade Alejo.
Después de 8 meses de espera y un movimiento entero con el
#FreeDivinoCastigo, en las redes sociales finalmente la canción ya está
disponible para todos aquellos quienes añoraban tenerla y disfrutarla.
Actualmente, TIMØ viven uno de los momentos más emocionantes de su
carrera: han sido confirmados a Lollapalooza Argentina 2026 y Estéreo
Picnic 2026. Con esto, TIMØ se convierte en la banda colombiana más
joven en llegar al escenario de Lollapalooza Argentina, un hito que los
posiciona como una de las propuestas más prometedoras y queridas del pop
latino actual.
Este año ha sido una etapa maravillosa y única para la banda. España, el
anuncio de su participación en dos importantes festivales de música y
ahora nueva música con "Divino Castigo" significa sólo una cosa: La

TIMØ ANNOUNCE THEIR NEW ALBUM 'CANTO PA NO LLORAR' AND RELEASE THEIR
HIGHLY ANTICIPATED SINGLE "DIVINO CASTIGO"
After visiting more than 15 cities across Spain with an unforgettable
tour that reaffirmed their connection with the Latin audience in Europe,
and following their successful performance at Coca Cola Food Fest in
Puebla, Mexico, TIMØ officially announce their upcoming studio album,
'Canto Pa No Llorar,' which is now available for pre-order and will be
available on February 13, 2026. The album announcement comes alongside
the release of their last single of the year, "Divino Castigo," marking
the beginning of a new creative era for the band and becoming their most
highly anticipated song to date.
"Divino Castigo' was the first song we wrote for the new album. We
composed it at the beginning of January 2024, and it practically hasn't
changed since then. We just increased the tempo and the key a little,
but the essence was always there, wanting to be part of the album... and
in the end, it made it," shares Alejo.
It's a joyful song that, despite the heartbreak, gives strength to move
forward, embracing life with pride and courage, showing the world that
it's possible to overcome heartbreak.
The song was born in a session with Nabález, the renowned Colombian
producer, who added his signature Latin touch. Although the track
initially had a more bluesy vibe, it eventually evolved into a unique
blend of Anglo blues and Mexican influences, creating a sound that, as
Pepa explains, "evokes rhythms very similar to Carín León's song
'Primera Cita'."
The result is an intense and emotional piece that resonates with a
generation that has learned to heal through dancing. "In a culture where
everyone says 'I settle for crumbs in love,' this song is the opposite,
it's about empowerment. It's saying, 'You broke my heart, but I'm still
here, and I'm coming out of this stronger.' We love that energy, and we
understand why people have been asking for it for months," adds Alejo.
After eight months and a full social media movement with the hashtag
#FreeDivinoCastigo, the song is finally available for everyone who had
been longing to listen to and enjoy it.
Currently, TIMØ are experiencing one of the most exciting moments of
their career: they've been confirmed for Lollapalooza Argentina 2026 and
Estéreo Picnic 2026. With this, TIMØ becomes the youngest Colombian band
to perform on the Lollapalooza Argentina stage, a milestone that cements
their place as one of the most promising and beloved acts in today's
Latin pop scene.
This year has been a wonderful and defining chapter for the band. From
their journey through Spain to the announcement of their participation
in two major music festivals, and now, the release of new music with
