Wakame estrenan Shinkansen
Wakame es el ambicioso proyecto musical de los murcianos Toni Bastida,
Lolo Walls, Álvaro Sánchez y Lex Serrano. Nacido a principios de 2022
para dar forma a una propuesta sólida de intensidades rock con melodías
pop, pues su música bebe del rock alternativo de bandas como Placebo,
Interpol o The Killers, entre otros.

Carlos Hernández ( productor de Viva Suecia, Carolina Durante, Los
Planetas, etc.) estuvo al mando de su primer trabajo: "Revolución
Industrial", un trabajo de 8 temas donde destacan canciones como CARRIE
WHITE con la colaboración de Rafa Val (Viva Suecia).
Este 2024 la banda regresa con Shinkansen, una canción de corte
acelerado con el que romper su silencio y que nace paralelamente a su
próximo trabajo, que verá la luz a lo largo de este año y estará
producido nuevamente por el madrileño Carlos Hernández.
La canción se inspira en el tren bala japonés. Bpm altos que simbolizan
la velocidad del tiempo, de las oportunidades. Nos habla de trenes que
solo pasan una vez. A veces se nos escapan, otras nos arrollan. También
es su canción de menor duración, sin estribillo y de intensidad
ascendente. No podía llamarse de otra forma que Shinkansen.
Recientemente hemos podido verles en directo en la sala El Sol
acompañando a Vaho en un doble sold out que no dejó indiferente a nadie.
La banda afronta este año con mucho que decir y con varias fechas en
concierto para poder vibrar junto a su música.

Wakame is the ambitious musical project of Murcians Toni Bastida, Lolo

Carlos Hernández (producer of Viva Sweden, Carolina Durante, Los

Industrial", a work of 8 songs where songs like CARRIE WHITE with the
collaboration of Rafa Val (Viva Suevia).
This 2024 the band returns with Shinkansen, a fast-paced song with which
to break their silence and which is born in parallel with their next
work, which will be released throughout this year and will be produced
again by Madrid-born Carlos Hernández.
The song is inspired by the Japanese bullet train. High bpm that
symbolize the speed of time, of opportunities. He tells us about trains
that only pass once. Sometimes they escape us, other times they
overwhelm us. It is also their shortest song, without a chorus and with
increasing intensity. It couldn't be called anything else than
Shinkansen.
Recently we were able to see them live at the El Sol venue accompanying
Vaho in a double sold out that left no one indifferent. The band faces
this year with a lot to say and with several live dates to be able to
vibrate with their music.
